Summary: Believing when you have not seen is a sign of great faith. The same God you worship is in charge of the unseen just as He is of the seen

May the peace of the Lord be with you.

Topic: THE GOD OF THE UNSEEN

John 20:24-29 King James Version (KJV)

24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Beloved, Thomas wanted a physical experience or manifestation before he believes. What he was hearing from the other disciples was too good and mysterious to be true.

Something like that had never happened before in any part of the world. It is not the usual sickness and healing or loss and gain testimony or report but one of resurrection from the dead after being dead for three days.

It was unheard of and sounded so so impossible. But the God we serve is the God of miracles, signs and wonders.

He does the impossible. He makes impossibilities become possibilities. The very things you know and are sure can never be done are the things He does to dazzle you. He does them to wow you to show you how spectacular He is and how much He will do anything at all for you or for your sake.

Some want to see before they believe. It is not strange but, just like Jesus said, *BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN AND YET HAVE BELIEVED*.

Believing when you have not seen is a sign of great faith. Therefore believe the Lord can do anything and don't be afraid to ask Him for anything at all no matter how impossible it looks or sounds.

Beloved, know the Jesus you serve. He is the Jesus of signs and wonders and miracles. He makes the impossible possible in a spectacular way. Just ask and He will do it, seek and you shall find, knock and He shall surely open the door for you.

Beloved *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and no one else. Just have in mind that: He makes the impossible possible; He is the God of all flesh, and there is nothing too hard for Him; He can do all things, for everything is possible with Him.

Prayer: Father please grant me thy grace to have great faith, and bless me to keep such faith throughout my life, in the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
