John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

10 Reasons To Love God!!

1-For God So Loved

God initiated the relationship between us and Him

He loved us enough to create us, to give us a free will, to forgive us, to redeem us, to give us eternal life.

1 John 4:10-In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1 John 4:19-We love Him because He first loved us.

2-The World

He loves the world as a group, as different races, different personalities, different backgrounds, but we must never forget He loves us as individuals!

A lot of times we want to stick individuals into a nice neat box and label them this group or that group and forget about them being an individual, with individual wants, desires, and needs but God does not do that!

God wants to have a relationship with everyone on a individual bases….that is why no one can come to Christ for you, you have to come to Christ on your on!

3-He Gave

All the other world religions, they do not teach or proclaim that their god gave anything to redeem mankind, all the world religion gods require their follows to give to them!

4-His Only Begotten Son

Someone was going to have to die for your sins, either that was going to be you or someone to take your place…That sacrificial person was and is…Jesus

2 Cor. 5:21-For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

5-Whoever Believes

It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor; famous or unknown; young or old; tall or short; thin or heavy; educated or uneducated; gifted or simple.

6-In Him

There are no works; no deeds; no actions; no self-inflicted punishments or pain that can ever make anyone worthy of heaven.

It can only obtained through a personal relationship with Jesus, when a person accepts Him as their Lord and Savior!

John 14:6-Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

7-Should Not Perish

His purpose is to…Luke 19:10-for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

His purpose does not change, and the great thing is, no one can change His purpose!

Your body might perish, but your soul will not!

8-But Have

Definition Of Have

1-to be the owner or possessor of something

2-to be the possessor of a quality or characteristic (Do I act like I’m going to Heaven?)

3-expresses conviction or certainty (Do I have conviction like I’m going to Heaven?)

9-Everlasting

Everlasting means no end, never to cease, that is hard to wrap your mind around, because everything that we have or connected with has a end….Jobs end, health deteriorates, car brake down, people die, marriages dissolves and the list goes on.

10-Life

Life-This wonderful life that He gives us doesn’t start in the sweet by and by, it starts the day we accept Him as our Savior!

John 10:10-The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
