Summary: The doors of Heaven are always open as a result of God's amazing grace.

Romans 5:1-8 The Father says, “My door is always open”

• Romans begin by telling us 5:1 we have peace with God. Not merely a feeling (peace of mind) but a new relationship with God: Once we were his enemies, but now we are his friends.

• Romans shares with us we can rejoice in sufferings Not "because of" but "in." A Christian can rejoice in suffering because he knows that it is not meaningless its purpose is to produce character in his children

• Romans tells us at just the right time). Christ died for the ungodly

• Romans shares with us of our unworthy state but despite that The door of heaven was open to us. We were neither righteous nor good, but sinners, when Christ died for us

1. Years ago we had a slogan Open Minds Open Hearts and Open Doors

• These words sound so inviting sounds like Grace

• These words sound like good news to all people

• That’s Grace open minds open heart and open doors

2. Our Father is saying “ My doors are always open” that is grace

• Paul tells us we have access to grace. “We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

• This grace is free “through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand.” The most important access of all — access to the grace of God, through Jesus Christ — is absolutely free. It cost Jesus a trip to the cross — but it costs us nothing.

• The Polish astronomer Copernicus was one of the greatest scientists in history. But Copernicus was also a man of faith. He had these words inscribed on his tombstone:

• “O God, the faith that you gave to St. Paul I cannot ask, and the mercy you did show to St. Peter I dare not ask; but, Lord, the grace you did show to the dying thief on the cross — that, Lord, show to me.”

• That grace is all any of us can claim. The thief crucified beside Jesus turns to him before he dies and says, “Remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answers, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

• Access to grace. One theologian says, “It’s a wonder we have it, but we do. My doors are open

3. When is the Fathers Doors open?

• The word of Jesus tells us that His door is always open.

• We can stay away if we wish, and we can engage in all manner of sinful lifestyles and activities, but when the time comes that we really need grace,

• when the day dawns that we’re ready to make a change, the door is open.

• Jesus says; 28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. My doors are open.

You were cursing the guy, you never attended Bible study, never baptized never membership in a church, How did you get here said the angel? the man said, "I don’t know". Angel said, "What do you mean you don’t know". "I don’t know" said, the man. The angel said, "Do you understand justification by faith", The man said," I never heard of it? Angel said, "Do you know the doctrine of Scripture? On what basis are you here? The man said, "Well, the man in the middle said I could come".
