VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. GOD said "You can not see My face"
"But, He said, You can not see My face,"
1 Timothy 6:16 (Amplified Bible)
6:16 Who alone has immortality [in the sense of exemption from every kind of death] and lives in unapproachable light, Whom no man has ever seen or can see. Unto Him be honor and everlasting power and dominion. Amen (so be it).
Hebrews 12:2 (Amplified Bible)
12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 5:29 (Amplified Bible)
5:29 And they shall come out—those who have practiced doing good [will come out] to the resurrection of [new] life, and those who have done evil will be raised for judgment [raised to meet their sentence].
John 11:25 (Amplified Bible)
11:25 Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live;
Still no man can live by seeing GOD's face directly, so GOD in His mercy and Grace, made a Way for us to be saved, that is through the LORD JESUS CHRIST. If we look to JESUS who is the Author and Finisher of our faith, we are saved.
Romans 10:9-10 (Amplified Bible)
10:9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10:10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.
B. For no man shall see GOD and live
"for no man shall see Me and live"
We go to GOD through JESUS, for JESUS is the Way, Truth and the Life.
