The Elect Are Not Deceived

Mat 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 

2Th 2:8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 

9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 

Seeing is not always believing because many will believe what they see, but they will be seeing a lie.

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 

22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 

I believe with all that I am that we are living in the age of apostasy and many are falling for false miracles and listening to false prophets.

1Ti 6:3  If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 

4  He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 

5  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 

6  But godliness with contentment is great gain. 

7  For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 

8  And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 

Many false prophets teach that gain is godliness. They fly about in private jets, live lavish lifestyles promising that if you sow into their ministry you will also prosper leading many of the poor to give what they cannot afford to to give. By this they rob widows and others.

Mark 12:38  And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, 

39  And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts: 

40  Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation. 

Indeed, they charge large amounts to teach you to pray like they do so that you can manipulate God to do your will. Jesus taught His disciples how to pray without charge. James tells you what is wrong with your prayer life.

James 4:2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 

3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 

4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 

It is not because you do not know the magic formula of prayer. It is because of the condition of your heart and your motive. Flee the false prophets and stop funding heresy and greed. Trust God for miracles, but do not demand them and think money will make one happen. Run away for the sake of your mind and soul! Run to Jesus at the throne grace for find what you truly need.
