Acts

14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.

When we believe that God has a purpose and place for each of us in his work if we are ready when he opens that first door he will keep us busy. Then open more doors.

1. It’s a privilege to worship our Lord.

Phil.2: 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Not a burden to get up and go to worship

Should not have to beg to go

A blessed privilege to attend worship

2.Walk by the scriptures.

Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Having a .delightful experience in Gods word

Good effort walking not sitting are standing

Detailed instructions are clearly written

2. Filled with the power of his Holy Spirit.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Kept saved by his mighty power

Keep working by his miracle working power

Kept sweet by the manifestation of his power

3. The plan is to win sinners

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The command is to go without exception

A compassion is to win souls by the spirit

The call keeps coming to the saved

4. The purity to want to live separated

Rom:

1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Our speech ought to be becoming the our Saviour

Our spirit ought to be becoming of our salvation

Our separation ought to be becoming to reach the sinners

5. A prayer for the world lost in sin

Acts 20:20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

Unction of the Holy Spirit praying brings weeping

Urgent need of the lost demand witnessing

Unlimited number needs winning

6. The praise for working with the saints

Rev. 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Our forgiveness places us in the right relationship

Our fellowship with the family of the redeemed

Our future with the saints and the redeemer
