THE DEVIL DEMANDS WORSHIP

Matthew 24: 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

The Devil wants to be worshipped as God

His aim is to have his victims bow down before him. .

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one worthy of worship.

Jesus alone can delivery us from Satanic power.

(1) Sinners choose to serve sin.

John 3: 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Sinner by nature – decide about moarls

Sinner by practice – deliberate misconduct

Sinner by choice – dedicated to meanness.

(2) He corrupts the Scriptures.

John 8: 44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Denies the authority

Argues bout the author

Dilutes the ability.

(3) He curses the Salvation of Christ.

2nd Thess. 2: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

Doubt in the believers heart

Plans on going back to old habits.

Paints a dark picture of saved people

(4) Changes the scriptures read.

Gen .3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

You will not die

You will not stand in judgments.

Don’t think That God will not send you to hell

(5) Satan slanders the saints.

Revelation 12: 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Accuse saints of being fake

Tries to wreck their faith.

Tries to advance himself as a favorite .

(6) He controls a system of slavery.

2nd Cor 4: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Blinds the sinner to spiritual matters.

Try’s to bind us to his mastery.

Brags about the show he has.

(7) Sin condemns the soul.

Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Callous heart against God.

Living in sin till death.

Confess your sin to Christ and trust him as Lord.
