Summary: The Deception of Satan and the influence of false Religions
Introduction.
I. Satan wants to deceive you about the true living God.
1) Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
2) Satan wants to imitate God in every way to deceive the unknowing!
3) II Cor. 4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
4) Satan snatches the word of God from the hearts of men.
5) Luke 8:12 “Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
II. Satan wants to deceive you about your life.
1) I Cor. 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
2) He enters the very core of man’s soul as a friend; He comes as an angel of light.
3) He knows exactly where your weaknesses lie!
4) His goal is to destroy.
III. Satan wants to deceive you about eternity.
1) I Cor. 6:9 Do you not now that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Nether fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
2) He wants you to think that you can live like the devil today and spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord tomorrow.
