The Culture Of Living In Grace

*DAY 9 OF LENT*

Our reflection for today is on the 8th Kingdom Culture from the parable below:

*NEW WINE INTO OLD WINESKINS*

Matthew 9:16-17 King James Version (KJV)

16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

*The culture of putting away old traditions, customs and laws that are not in conformity with the ways of love, mercy and grace that we are to accept and live by (renewing your mind to accept the teachings of grace, love and mercy as espoused by Jesus in the Gospels and the Apostles in the Epistles)*

You cannot accept the teachings of grace and practice them if you are still filled with the teachings of the law. You have to let go of the law and receive grace so you function according to the blessings bestowed upon you by grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Daddy please cause me to live, walk and act in grace according to the teachings of grace in your word. May I be free from the law and practice grace successfully to the glory of your holy name. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
