Summary: The reason Satan attacks us in prayer is that if he can trip us up on that, then he doesn’t fear anything else we do.

The Crux of Prayerlessness – Prayerlessness #3
(Taken from Andrew Murray’s The Prayer Life)
2 Corinthians 10:4-5; Ephesians 6:18
Prayer is spoken of as a weapon.
Obviously we are in a battle that we often give little time to consider.
A battle led by good generals has a battle plan.
Attack strategically, and the battle is close to being yours.
Prayer is where Satan attacks.
If he undoes us in prayer, nothing else we do matters.
If he can get us not to pray, he will severely hinder our spiritual walk.
Prayerlessness is a sign that we are following the flesh (last week),
but also that we are allowing Satan to win the battle.
The war is won, but how many civilians will we pick up along the way?
How effective will we be?
