Summary: The Crowning of our Saviour at His birth, death and second advent

THE CROWNING OF THE KING

Rev 14: 14-20

Intro: When a king takes power over the throne under normal circumstances he is the son of the reigning king or an heir to that throne. They are put into a position or place of power since there birth. And we find in the Bible there has been a number of kings that has ruled in Palestine beginning with David and continuing through Zedekiah. David was an exception to this theory of kinghood. David is the beginning of a lineage that would prove to be the greatest lineage of all mankind. David’s father was not a king but David was appointed king by Samuel. Then there was Solomon, Rehoboam , Abijah and so on. Each of these kings were given a crown to show rule and power. I want to preach about one king who is yet to receive a kingly crown. I want to preach on The Crowning of the King.
