Summary: Do not stumble upon what He has taken away.

Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

What were those written ordinances? The 600 some points of the Law. No one was ever saved by the Law. They were saved by the faith they had to offer up the sacrifices for their sins. It made no sense for an animal to die in place of the sinner, but God said it so those who believed offered them. They had their sins covered until the perfect sacrifice was made.

Jesus fulfilled the Law. He took it out of our way. Trying to mix grace and law does not work. That is what the Galatians were trying to do and Paul told them they were in great error.

The ordinances were blotted out by His blood on the Cross. Rejoice and walk in the Spirit of grace and love. He is our salvation, our righteousness and sanctification. Adding anything to that undermines His sacrifice and sovereignty. It is all about Him. Christ in us, the hope of glory.

Stop working for salvation and work from it. Drop traditions and rituals. They only cloud the issue and make you feel good as if anything you can do adds to your salvation. It is all about Him. Bow in gratitude and serve in love by His Spirit's power and guidance.

He said, "It is finished!" Stop trying to add chapters or edits to His story. Maranatha!
