Summary: Some individuals disregard God, ignoring His commands and living according to their own desires.

"The venomous words of evil men may pierce the air, but they will never penetrate the armor of a godly woman's faith. For she stands secure in the shadow of the Almighty, her defense is Jesus, and no weapon formed against her will prosper. Their manipulative lies and accusations will rebound upon their own heads, for the Lord is her refuge and her vindicator. She will not be shaken, for her roots run deep in the love of God, and her hope is anchored in the unshakeable rock of His promises."

Isaiah 54:17 - "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," says the Lord.

Psalm 36:1-4 :"I have a message from God in my heart concerning the sinfulness of the wicked: There is no fear of God before their eyes. In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin. The words of their mouths are wicked and deceitful; they fail to act wisely or do good. Even on their beds they plot evil; they commit themselves to a sinful course and do not reject what is wrong."

Today, we address a critical issue that the absence of fear for God. Some individuals disregard God, ignoring His commands and living according to their own desires. This mindset has severe consequences, and we must understand the dangers of neglecting our Creator.

The Characteristics of Those Who Disregard God

They lack reverence and awe for the Almighty, leading to a life of sin and rebellion.

1. Self-Deception (Psalm 36:2)

They flatter themselves, unable to recognize their own sin and need for repentance.

1. Wicked Words and Actions (Psalm 36:3-4)

Their words and deeds are corrupt, causing harm to themselves and others.

The Consequences of Disregarding God

1. Spiritual Darkness (Ephesians 4:17-19)

Rejecting God leads to spiritual darkness, separation from Him, and a life of futility.

1. Eternal Judgment (Hebrews 9:27)

Ultimately, those who disregard God will face eternal judgment, a fate worse than death.

The Remedy

1. Fear God (Proverbs 1:7)

Embrace a healthy fear of God, recognizing His power and authority.

1. Repent and Turn (Luke 13:3)

Turn from sin and turn to God, seeking forgiveness and new life in Jesus Christ.

Disregarding God has severe consequences, but there is hope. Let us fear God, repent of our sins, and turn to Him, that we may live a life of purpose and eternal significance.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray for those who disregard Your majesty, that their hearts may be awakened to fear and reverence You. Help us to live a life that honors You, and may we share the message of repentance and forgiveness with those around us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
