Good morning, Church! Today we're diving into a rich passage from Acts 19:1-41. It's a story filled with God's power, miracles, and faithfulness. It's a story about the early believers in Ephesus, showing us how the Holy Spirit worked in their lives and in their church, how they witnessed God's miracles, and how they faithfully waited on God.
Our brother in Christ, Charles Spurgeon, once said, "Without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing. We are as ships without wind. We are useless." And boy, does today's scripture bring that truth to life!
Let's read through it together now. [Read Acts 19:1-41.]
The passage continues to describe the amazing miracles God performed through Paul, the challenges the church in Ephesus faced, and their unwavering faith in God. Before we dive deeper into this passage, let's bow our heads in prayer.
Dear Lord, as we delve into Your Word today, open our hearts and minds to understand, learn, and apply the truths You have for us. May Your Holy Spirit guide us, just as it guided the church in Ephesus, and may we, too, be a witness to Your miracles and remain faithful in waiting on You. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
