Summary: Prayer is communication with God -- the greatest privilege on earth. Prayer is visiting with God. It can include asking for things, but is primarily spending time in God's presence, soaking up His life, His wisdom, and His strength.

The Benefit of Prayer

ISAIAH 40:31

KJV 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Most people look at prayer only as asking God for things. If that defines your prayer life, you are really missing out.

Prayer is communication with God -- the greatest privilege on earth.

Prayer is visiting with God. It can include asking for things, but is primarily spending time in God's presence, soaking up His life, His wisdom, and His strength.

Isaiah reveals an important truth to us: those who spend time with God get new strength. Literally, they exchange strength with Him. When we spend time with God He somehow takes away our weakness and replaces it with His strength. What a deal!

As we spend time focused on God, in His presence, we are also created in His likeness.

2 CORINTHIANS 3:18

KJV 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

So, if you need more strength to face life, if you want to be more like God, or if you want to develop a closer relationship with the most amazing Being in the universe -- prayer is your answer.

Don't worry about knowing the right words or being formal. Just talk to God as you would to a well-respected friend.

Hay what are you doing, Excuse me, are you talking to the right GOD, Excuse me, are you asking for forgiveness. Excuse me,

I am talking to God right now, can you come back later. Excuse me, Can you pray a little louder God needs to here you over everyone else talking to him. Excuse me, can you just talk to the lord on your own time. Excuse me, just talk to the lord when you want too.

We all thank you for hearing my prayer of salvation. With out you I would of never been born or even know what life is all about. Now that I know you I know that you will guide me in life. Lead me to great things. Help in everyday life. I know that we are here to help one another in life and you will guide us. If I was unsaved I would of never known how loving you are. You told us to love one another and to help one another in everything. Amen

Now God put us here so he would have some one else to talk too and to care for. He created us in his likeness, man and female.

He had everything planed out to what was going to happen to everyone that was born on earth, he gave us a choice in life to worship him or not. That is our choice. Because of Adam and eve in the garden he had to give us that choice. Once we have sinned we became one of Satan’s children. It is like he disowned us until Jesus was born to take away the sins of Satan in us. Now if you are saved you know the difference of saved and unsaved. Now if you had the choice would you go back to being unsaved and did not now the lord at all. I know I would not. now the main thing is once saved always saved. It is how much of yourself you give unto the lord. You give him 50% or 100% of your self. It is up to you to make that choice. It all comes down to choice. Have you made the right choice in life? You can right now, say this after me.

(Say this out loud).

God, I believe with all my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ was buried and has been raised from he dead, I make Jesus Lord of my life right now, and I repent of all sin and turn from it. I open the door of my life and let you in. Jesus you are my lord and I will serve only you. I renounce you Satan. You are no longer my Lord.. In the Father, Son and holy Ghost, Amen.

Prayer of completely to God. (Say this out Loud).

Father, I give myself completely to you. I need power to live for you. Fill me to over flowing with your holy spirit. I receive his fullness right now. I will be and I will do and I will say what God wants me to. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Daily Prayer (Say it out loud)

Greater is Jesus, who is in me, than Satan, who is in the world. Jesus is lord of my life, Jesus give me strength and Joy Forever Amen.
