You will know the truth and the truth will ____________

Yet that is not true. Unless you include John 8:31

John 8:31-32 (NASB)

31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;

32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free."

It is only if we continue in His Word.

Which means to be obedient to. To adhere to. To faithfully live by.

It is only if we are truly Disciples of His, that we know the truth and are set free.

Salvation is not promised to anyone who is not a disciple.

A disciple is a follower. A committed Student who want to emulate the Master.

Only if we are those who obey His word are we His disciples.

It is in the obeying that we come to the knowledge of the truth.

Cannot know how to fast if you do not fast.

Cannot know the joy of the tithe if we do not tithe.

Cannot know the wonder of prayer, if we do not pray.

Our faith is increased when we obey.

Luke 17:5-10 (NASB)

5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"

6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea'; and it would obey you.

Mustard seed faith will be people who see and experience great and mighty things.

From Mulberry Trees to Moutains…..

Matthew 17:19-21 (NASB)

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, "Why could we not drive it out?"

20 And He *said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

21 ["But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."]

Jeremiah 33:3

Why are so many who say they are Christians not experiencing Great and Mighty….

Greg questioning me then Tom and the Eggs—man from Heartland.

God told him to give out eggs. Led to give to man who does not want them.

That man offers them to Athiest Teacher there to prove there is not God.

She had prayed God if your real, have someone give me a dozen eggs.

Now he has been led to Jordan where he is ministering to a Moola.

Iranian Couple bringing Bibles to a secret House Church.

Man tells wife not to witness in market while he goes in bank.

Comes out and Moola sitting outside.

Drags wife away…..

She is angry and says, “If they go to Hell, then it is your fault”

He says, “We could go to prison.” She says, “I don’t care”

Go back…. Share faith and give Bibles. Gives one to Moola who had a dream.

God has prepared amazing things for you …..

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NASB)

9 but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."

Grandparent is better than being a parent

If Tim and Liam were standing in front of a bus….

Grandparents prepare for Grandkids: so that everything else pales in comparison.

God has prepared an amazing life for you….

To experience it you have to be faithful and obedient.

Luke 17:7-10

7 "Which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down to eat'?

8 "But will he not say to him, 'Prepare something for me to eat, and properly clothe yourself and serve me while I eat and drink; and afterward you may eat and drink'?

9 "He does not thank the slave because he did the things which were commanded, does he?

10 "So you too, when you do all the things which are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.'"

It in our being obedient to all that is in the Word that our faith will increase.
