The whole armour of God

Introduction:

- It is our protection against the Evil

- It is our protection against the Devil

• Because the Devil wants to bind the heart of the believers (Matthew 12:29-30)

• Because the Devil wants to blind the heart of the believers (2 Corinthians 4:3-4)

I. The Girdle of Truth (v.14 a)

- Our Integrity must hold fast.

- Our Sincerity must hold fast.

II. The Breastplate of Righteousness (v.14 b)

- Our right character must be shown.

- Our right conduct must be seen.

Without it we will be vulnerable, disgraced and defeated.

III. The Sandals of the Gospel (v.15)

Having bound under for firm footing, for sure steps and for protection.

Preparation indicates readiness, prepared to see duty and...

- It will help us to do God's will.

- It will help us to deliver God's word.

IV. The Shield of Faith (v.16)

- Believers must be depending to God.

- Believers must Be dedicated to God.

V. The Helmet of Salvation (v.17 a)

- Our Minds should be protected to False Doctrine.

- Our Minds should be protected to False Desires.

VI. The Sword of the Spirit (v.17 b)

- God's word will help us to fight temptation.

- God's word will help us to finish testings.

Conclusion:

"Take the whole armour of God and use it with dependance and dedication."
