John 10:10 ESV – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

John 10:10 TPT – A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

I. The Abundant Life

Psalm 85:12 NKJV – Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase.

A. Enlarging our capacity to receive from God

1. Study the Word of God.

2. Open your heart and understanding.

B. Believing for the Supernatural

Supernatural – of or relating to an order of existence beyond the visible observable universe. Departing from what is usual or normal, especially to appear to transcend the laws of nature. – Merriam-Webster

Psalms 115:12-16 ESV

12. The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

13. he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great.

14. May the LORD give you increase, you and your children!

15. May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth!

16. The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.

1. God wants you to experience abundance in every area of your life!

a. Marriage – God wants you to have a GREAT marriage – Genesis 2:18

b. Children – Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. – Psalms 127:3-5

c. Finances – God wants you blessed financially! – 2 Corinthians 9:8-12

2. When God blesses us, all areas of our lives are blessed!

1. We live in a “world system.”

2. God’s Word teaches us that “the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just,” meaning – there is coming a great wealth transfer to the people of God!

3. We must position ourselves (in this world’s system) to receive that transfer.

Proverbs 4:7 KJV – Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.

B. General Financial Advice

b. 10% Personal Investment

c. 10% Play Money

d. 70% Live on this

2. Interest

a. Stay out of debt (Your home is an investment)

b. Cut up all but two of your credit cards. Pay them off immediately after you use them.

c. Buying a Car can be a poor investment

3. Invest for your future

A. Jesus paid the price for our prosperity on Calvary

2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV – For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes, he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

B. In Christ, we are marked with blessing.

Psalm 67:5-7 NLT – May the nations praise you, O God. Yes, may all the nations praise you. Then the earth will yield its harvests, and God, our God, will richly bless us. Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.
