Summary: Most of scripture speaks to us, the psalms speak for us.

Thank You, Lord, for Yesterday

Psalm 66:5-6-Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men. He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot. There we will rejoice in Him.

Come And See-Not come and argue about God's existence.

Just look around you and see what God has done.

This reminds me of the blind man, who when being interrogated by the religious authorities says "look guys, I don't know about all your rabbinical arguments, all I know was that I was blind but now I see."

Come And See The Works Of God!

We need to be thankful for those who translated the Bible into English! Anyone hear speak Hebrew Or Greek, or read Hebrew or Greek?

We need to be thankful to the ones who started our Church, for the ones who

re-established our Church!

We need to thank or lest remember (If they are past away) or grandparents or parents who were models of what a Christian should be!

We need to be thankful for those ones who fought for our freedom and for those ones who continue to protect our freedom!

We need to be thankful for those ones who dedicate their life to help others, Police officers, Firemen, Ems, Doctors, Nurses.

We need to thank our Sunday School teachers, our song leaders, our pianist!

We need to thank or lest remember the one who told us about Christ!

Thank You, Lord, for Today

Verse 8-9-Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard,

Who keeps our soul among the living, And does not allow our feet to be moved.

We need to be thankful to the Lord, that we are alive on this day Nov. 11, 2012, a lot of people we know and a lot of people we love didn’t live this long!

We need to be thankful to the Lord for His protection….(Close calls, nearly had accident, was in a store before it was robbed, a illness that turned out to be minor, for job we have, while others have lost theirs, for the home we live in, and the car we drive!)

We need to be thankful for all the technology that we have! We have access to so much Bible teaching, so much education about God’s word! There is a group of people who has a program that when someone types a question about God, religion, Jesus….they are ask if they would be interested in talking to someone about their questions, and they are given a email address or a phone number they can call. People are receiving Jesus into their lives!

Thank You, Lord, for Tomorrow

Verse 1-4-Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!

Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious.

Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! Through the greatness of Your power Your enemies shall submit themselves to You.

All the earth shall worship You And sing praises to You; They shall sing praises to Your name.”

I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow!

Because of what God has done for us yesterday, and what He has done for us today, we can have confidence in tomorrow!

Billy Graham-God is more interested in your future and your relationships than you are.

Thomas Fuller-He that fears not the future may enjoy the present.

Charles Stanley-Since God knows our future, our personalities, and our capacity to listen, He isn't ever going to say more to us than we can deal with at the moment.

Rod Parsley-God has more for you in your future than you could ever dream of in your present and he's already seen you in it
