Thanking Him!
Colossians 3:15-17
Colossians 3:15-17
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms [and] hymns [and] spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts unto God. And whatsoever ye do, in word or in deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Thankful for the past. Hebrews 1:1-3
God, having of old time spoken unto the fathers in the prophets by divers portions and in divers manners,
God has given us his word, through the writers of the Bible.
hath at the end of these days spoken unto us in [his] Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;
Then God spoke to us through His only begotten son
who being the effulgence of his glory, and the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification of sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Jesus being the very image of God and upholding all things made purification for sins by his death on the cross. And now sits at the right hand of the father.

Thankful for the present: Eph 2
And you [did he make alive,] when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved)
Thankful that today we live because Christ lives and shall never die.
JOH 11:26And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Walking through life is so comforting knowing that no matter what happens here we are His.

Thankful for our future:
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.
We are never to be condemned. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER
1 Thes. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Jesus IS coming again. Period…

Thankful for forever
Ps. 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever
Rev: 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
