God would use Abraham and thru Abraham all the world would be blessed

The Jews trace back their origin, their history to Abraham, they refer to him as Father Abraham!

Not only do they trace their beginning to Abraham, but also their relationship to God.

Because often times in God’s word does God refer to Himself as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob!

Abraham learned early in his life it is not enough know there is a God, it’s not enough to know that God is the God, Abraham realized it was his God!

If you have come today, and you know there is a God! Great!

If you have come today and you know that God is the only God! Wonderful!

But I want you to leave today and know that He is your God!

He has a plan for your life, He has a purpose for your life!!

God Tested Abraham- James 1:13-15-Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

God Proved Abraham-God already knows what Abraham is going to do in this test, He already knows how Abraham is going to react to this test!

So what is the test for?

It is to prove to Abraham who he is, what he is capable of doing, what he is capable of enduring!

It is same for you as different test come into your life!

The test and its result was not only for Abraham, but also for Isaac, and the millions of people who have read or heard this story!

All us parents can identify with how hard this sacrifice was going to be and ultimately what a supreme sacrifice God did for us sending His Son to die on a cross for us!

Here I Am!

Oh, that we would be listening, ready to answer God's call!

Oh, that we would say, "Speak Lord, I'm listening!"

Oh, that we would realize today, that God wants to speak to us today!

Verse 2-Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

God always wants to take you where you have never been!

He always wants to grow you spiritually!

How do I know that?

Look at these words…. Now it came to pass after these things

What things?

1-He left his family, took Sarai and his nephew Lot to go to a country

that he knew nothing about.

2-Lot gets captured and Abraham goes and rescues him.

3-Sarai gets her maid Hagar, to lay with Abraham and becomes pregnant

4-Intercedes for Lot and his family in Sodom and Gomorrah

5-Abraham and Sarah have Isaac in their old age.

There are going to be things that come in and out of your life…Will you say…Wherever He Leads I’ll Go
