Summary: God’s grace is His unmerited favor. And that means we can’t earn it. We can’t work for it, and we can’t change His mind about it, even if we tried. He pours out His blessing on us not because of what we do, but because of who He is.

Tell everyone how good, the good news is!

"From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another"

(John 1:16, NIV).

God wants to pour out His blessing and favor upon you each and every day.

I talked Sunday from psalms 68:19

It says in the Psalms that He daily loads us with benefits!

So many people miss out on all that God has for them because they are weighted down by the world and guilt and condemnation.

Some people almost feel guilty when they have been blessed, if someone says it must be nice to have a new whatever,

Go ahead and tell them it is! And if you must brag, then brag about how good God is, and how good He is to those that serve Him.

A lot of people don’t really know how Good God takes care of His own.

Tell them it doesn’t have anything to do with how good you are, but everything to do with how good He is.

Notice what today’s verse tells us about where His blessings come from— they come from the fullness of His grace.

Webster defines it this way.

1.pleasing quality: a pleasing and admirable quality or characteristic (usually used in the plural)

2. gift of God to humankind: in Christianity, the infinite love, mercy, favor, and goodwill shown to humankind by God 3. freedom from sin: in Christianity, the condition of being free of sin, e.g. through repentance to God.

God’s grace is His unmerited favor. And that means we can’t earn it.

We can’t work for it, and we can’t change His mind about it, even if we tried.

He pours out His blessing on us not because of what we do, but because of who He is.

Tell them He is the most giving, person you have ever known,

you know a lot of people have a problem with God and giving, they think that’s all God ever wants, is for them to give.

They clearly don’t have any idea how big of a giver God truly is.

They might say well what about tithing, well what about it?

You tell me where you can invest 10% of your income and get a thirty, sixty, and even 100 fold return on the rest.

If you do the math, that’s as much as a 10,000% return

But giving to get is not what its all about, oh God will surely bless your giving to the church.

TBS.(the bible says) Give and it shall be giving pressed down shaken together and running over.

That’s the kind of Giver God is!!

The world needs to know though, He gives to His children in so many different ways

and the only way their going to find out is, if you are going to be willing to tell them

His blessings are based on His goodness, Not ours.

Deuteronomy 28:2

2And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you…

God loves to bless you. He has even declared that “blessings shall come upon you and overtake you”.

This means that you can’t run fast enough to escape them!

When you turn one corner, there is a blessing waiting for you. When you turn another corner, you run smack into another blessing!

This is what the world needs to hear and exactly what the devil doesn’t want them to hear,

because this message would give the world a tremendous amount of HOPE. Which it so desperately needs in this day and age.

Now, someone might think that they don’t qualify for God’s blessings

because of the prior verse which says that these blessings will come to pass only if you diligently obey God’s voice and keep all of His commandments.

But you can set them strait, you can tell them the truth,

You know that no matter how hard you try, you just cannot keep all of God’s commandments.

In fact, the Bible says that if you fail to keep just one commandment, you fail to keep all.

James 2:10 NKJ

For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all.

And then you can tell them, like Paul Harvey always said, and now its time for the rest of the story.

My friend, I have got good news for you: Jesus is the one who qualifies us for every single blessing because,

He has kept all of God’s commandments. When He died for us on the cross, He not only fulfilled all of God’s commandments,

He also redeemed us from the curse of the law, Praise God!

Galatians 3:13 NKJ

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us

Take Note: that He did not redeem us from the blessings of the law, only the curse
