Firstly I would to thank the heavenly Father for this great opportunity; he gave me to stand before you once against this day. Secondly, I like to greet you all in name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and I hope you are all well. It is my pleasure to stand before your today I can freely say, Psalm 122:1-2 I was glad when the y said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord. Church I was real happy when the Pastor told me that, I was to going to preach to today.

This is another day that the Lord has made for you and me so let us be glad in it, by hearing his word. If we hear the word of God we move from one glory to another. So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17. Don’t listen to the words of man, because there don’t edify you.

Today I am going to talk about weighing yourself, and see if your are be fitting heaven. You don’t just enter into heaven , as if you are entering a common public place. Before I read the scripture, I would like to pray. Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are his .He revealed the deep secret thing, he kwon what is in the darkness, and the light dwell with him. I thank thee, and praise thee thou God the creator of the world. Amen

Daniel 5: 24 – 28 (KJV)

Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE: God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balance, and art found wanting. PERES: Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

1 Corinthians 3: 16 – 17

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Everyone here knows what is to weigh, and what is used to weigh. I am quite sure we all know what instrument are used for weighing and terms used in weighing .I could go on and on talking about weighing, but the bottom line is that, when a thing is weighed it end up being valued. This is what I am to talk about today, the weighing and valuing of our Christianity, through the divine instrument of God, which is the word of God. We are weighed by the word of God, to see if we are wanting. King Belshazzar was weighed and found to be wanting. Belshazzar think to himself be something, yet he was nothing and deceiving himsefl, according to Galatians 6:3.The king sinned against God by drinking wine from the gold and silver vessel from the temple, he thought to himself as if he was equal with the Priest who used the vessels. The king used the worldly scale to weigh himself. By doing so he was abusing the temple vessels, which angered God who in return weighed the king using the heavenly scale. MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN, b y these words the king was weighed and come short of the glory of God. Judgement was passed on Belshazzar after he was weighed and valued.

Church I went you to look at what cause the down fall of king Belshazzar. It is the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. His eyes lusted to drink from the gold and silver vessel of the temple and he wanted to feel proud before his guest. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.1 John 2:16.Belshazzar angered God, by abusing the temple vessels, what more about abusing the temple of God? Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells inyou? If any one destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and that temple you are, 1Corinthians 3:16 – 17.Dear church this verse is self explanatory, if anyone abuse the temple of God, God will destroy him. Church I have got good news for you, we can escape this judgement. Thanks heaven, we can escape through Jesus Christ whom God hath set forth, to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24
