Summary: The life of unworthiness and the devils condemnation..is about as close as you can get to hell on earth.. And I'm not exaggerating, when I tell you...there are literally millions upon millions of people that are living there, that need to be set free!

"T-R-O-U-B-L-E" Right Here In RiverCity!
Has anyone ever seen the musical, "the music man"?
If you haven't, it's a story about salesman..who is also a con man
And he comes into a trouble free town named river city
and he convinces them of how much trouble they had and didn't even know it.
It's where the phrase was coined, "There's trouble....
begins with T and ends with an E....Trouble right here in River city"
And the only way they can get rid of their imaginary trouble is to buy what he has to sell..and they fall, hook, line and sinker for the lie.
Sounds a lot like what the accuser does, doesn't it?
He's always reminding everyone about their trouble...
both real and imaginary!
TBS. The father of all lies..goes to and fro, all over the whole world..
Seeking whom he may devour!
What about the stories we see played out on the news and videos all over the internet?
Good people mugged and robbed, knocked down for no apparent reason...and people just walk on by..just turning a blind eye!
Not willing to help or get involved in the situation...and when someone does,
It's so seldom seen nowadays..that their declared a hero, for doing something..and for lack of better description..
what used to be known as "doing the right thing"
We can thank The Lord, that our help is not dependent on some stranger walking by!
A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all (Psalm 34:19, NIV)
Everyone has a little drama in their life once in a while, the label Christian doesnt make you immune to it,
And it doesn't mean you will never have any troubles in life.
It doesn't mean things, that will be hard to handle, won't happen in your life.
But TBS. no matter what troubles you may be facing today, big ones or however insignificant they may seem to you,
Gods Grace, is sufficient and is bigger than all of them,
and God has promised to help you through and to deliver you from them as well!
Now some might believe, that some of the smaller ones can be dealt with, without really bothering God with the details,
And I would like to say to those folks...let me know after service how that's been working out for ya!
Truth is, God doesnt want you to be bothered with any...even the smallest issues of life, but the answer to life's issues can not be found from within yourself.
TBS. in 1 Peter 5:7 NKJ
6. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
7. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
I like the way the message says it;
6-7.So be content with who you are, and don't put on airs. God's strong hand is on you; he'll promote you at the right time. Live carefree before God; he is most careful with you.
Carefree before God..footloose and fancy free?...well I don't know about that
But TBS. To cast ALL your cares on Him, because He cares for you!
There aren't to many carefree relationships in this life, especially ones that are genuinely and honestly...concerned all about your well being!
The thing about trouble in life is, sometimes its kind of hard to stay above the fray,
I think we all know or have known someone who was a magnet and trouble was the steel in their life!
Thing about trouble and or drama is...it will drag you farther into it every time, then you want to go!
by that I mean its easy to get involved in any situation, but sometimes or should i say most every time, its just not worth going there.
And believe me, two days later the world has already forgot, who won or lost the battle and what it was even about in the first place.
The devil doesnt care what it takes to get at you, he just knows if he throws enough at you..and believe you me, he will and then comes retaliation, you know the part right before regret,
You know the attitude, we've all been there,
In the workplace,
In the check out line,
In traffic on the interstate,
Even in the very pew, where we worship...
We have all been guilty of thinking....
if you want trouble Ill show you trouble....
And thats why the next part of the word in 1 Peter is important!!
1 Peter 5: 8-11 MSG.
8-11.Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up. You're not the only ones plunged into these hard times. It's the same with Christians all over the world. So keep a firm grip on the faith. The suffering won't last forever. It won't be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ eternal and glorious plans they are! will have you put together and on your feet for good. He gets the last word; yes, he does.
