Good morning church! I am thankful you decided to join us today, as we begin a brand new series. We are calling this one “Sweet Like Honey,” as we talk about the promises God makes to us in scripture. Whether you are brand new to this whole Jesus thing, or have been walking with Him for some time, the reality is, God keeps His promises. In fact, many of us here today in person and online can probably give numerous examples of God’s faithfulness. He hasn’t let us down in the past, so there is reason to believe He will keep His promises in the future! That’s exactly why we are here.
The Bible actually declares in Psalm 119:103, “How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey. (NLT)” This is some pretty visceral imagery.
God keeps His promises.
