SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed."

INTRODUCTION:

Restoration is a major theme in God’s dealing with His people. Life's journey sometimes brings losses, delays, setbacks, and damages that leave individuals broken and discouraged. Yet, God’s promise remains sure — He specialises in restoring what has been lost, stolen, or destroyed. His restoration is not partial; it is total, and often better than the original.

Supernatural restoration is when God steps into your situation and reverses every loss, heals every hurt, and repays every injustice. It goes beyond human repair; it is divine re-creation. When God restores, He does it in such a way that what was lost cannot be compared to what is gained.

As believers, we must know that no matter what we have lost — time, opportunities, relationships, health, finances — God is able and willing to restore. This season, expect to experience supernatural restoration that will leave you rejoicing and praising God!

1. GOD IS THE MASTER OF RESTORATION

Restoration is at the heart of God's nature and dealings with humanity.

a) God Restores Lost Time

He can compress years of loss into moments of gain (Joel 2:25).

b) God Restores Health and Strength

He heals broken bodies and renews energy (Jeremiah 30:17).

c) God Restores Relationships

Broken homes and friendships can be healed by His power (Malachi 4:6).

d) God Restores Dreams and Destinies

Lost visions are revived when God steps in (Habakkuk 2:3).

Biblical Example: Job received double for all his losses (Job 42:10).

2. GOD'S RESTORATION IS BETTER THAN THE FORMER

He does not just give back what was lost; He multiplies and improves it.

a) Restoration Comes With Increase

What is restored is better, richer, and greater (Zechariah 9:12).

b) Restoration Comes With Honour

Instead of shame, God gives double honour (Isaiah 61:7).

c) Restoration Comes With Joy

Mourning is turned into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

d) Restoration Establishes Testimony

You become a living proof of God's faithfulness (Isaiah 61:3).

Biblical Example: Ruth’s story of restoration and new beginnings (Ruth 4:13-17).

3. FAITH IS REQUIRED FOR SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION

Believing God’s Word activates restoration in your life.

a) Faith Sees Beyond Present Losses

Faith focuses on the promise, not the pain (Hebrews 11:1).

b) Faith Declares Restoration Before It Happens

Speaking restoration brings it into reality (Romans 4:17).

c) Faith Positions You for Divine Intervention

God responds to faith, not fear (Mark 11:24).

d) Faith Makes You Act in Expectation

Faith without action is dead (James 2:17).

Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood restored through faith (Mark 5:25-34).

4. OBEDIENCE SPEEDS UP RESTORATION

Restoration flows where there is obedience to divine instructions.

a) Obedience Unlocks Divine Rewards

God honours obedience with blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

b) Partial Obedience Delays Restoration

Full compliance brings full restoration (1 Samuel 15:22).

c) Obedience Attracts Divine Favour

Favour accelerates the process of restoration (Psalm 5:12).

d) Obedience Aligns You With God's Timing

Walking in step with God brings timely restoration (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

Biblical Example: Peter's restoration after obeying Jesus’ instruction (John 21:15-17).

5. ENEMIES CANNOT STOP GOD'S RESTORATION

No matter the opposition, divine restoration is unstoppable.

a) God Overrules Every Satanic Plan

The counsel of the wicked cannot prevail (Isaiah 54:17).

b) What Was Meant for Evil Turns for Good

God uses the enemy’s attacks to position you for restoration (Genesis 50:20).

c) God Prepares a Table Before Enemies

Your restoration will be visible to your adversaries (Psalm 23:5).

d) Victory is Guaranteed for the Righteous

Restoration is a covenant promise for the just (Proverbs 24:16).

Biblical Example: David recovered all at Ziklag (1 Samuel 30:1-8,18-19).

CONCLUSION:

Supernatural restoration is God’s agenda for His children who have experienced loss or delay. No situation is beyond God's ability to turn around. What the enemy meant for your destruction, God will use to announce your destiny.

Expect God to restore you fully — your health, your time, your opportunities, your finances, and your dreams. Your restoration will be undeniable, enviable, and glorious!

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Father, restore to me everything the enemy has stolen.

2. Lord, heal every broken area of my life and destiny.

3. O God, give me double for every shame I have suffered.

4. Father, let my restoration glorify Your name before all men.

5. Lord, turn every delay into divine acceleration for me.
