Good morning, friends! I'm so glad you've chosen to spend part of your day here with us. Today, we're going to take a deep dive into two powerful passages that are just as relevant today as they were when they were penned by the apostle Paul and recorded by the disciple Matthew. We're going to talk about the Power of Contentment, the Benefits of Simplicity, and the Practice of Gratitude.
In Philippians 4:11-13, Paul writes, “I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” And in Matthew 6:33, Jesus himself instructs us: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
