Strong In The Lord

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Aren’t you glad that WE don’t have to make it through this life ON OUR OWN Strength.......

But we can....and are even encouraged in the Word of God to TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE of God’s Resources......

We have His Armour......His Weapons.....and EVEN His Strength.....

And we need to UNDERSTAND that God didn’t give us ACCESS to those things for BRAGGING Rights....

but RATHER because HE KNEW that as Jesus said in John 16:33 .....

.....In the world you will have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

The Word tribulation means....Distresses of life......

and We are not going to Live Long in the world with facing Distressing Situations......

And even though we KNOW that Romans 8:28 says.....

.....that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

There are times when WE JUST CAN’T SEE HOW.....

There are times when the Only thing we can see is the Trouble or Adversity that is Stacked up against us......

During those times......the deciever comes and talks to us....

He tells us that "It’s no use".....

"It’s never going to change"......

"You’ll Never make it into that Victorious Life that Pastor Nick keeps talking about".....

"That’s for Stronger People than you.....it’s for More Spiritual people....."

But you have to REMEMBER that he is a LIAR and the father of it.....

and.....you need to REMEMBER that IF he’s talking to you......he’s lying.....

DECEIVING...that’s what a LIE is...

ONE of the most effective STRATEGIES of your enemy is to BLIND YOUR EYES.....

I don’t mean literally....but to KEEP you from SEEING what you OUGHT to be Seeing.....

Naturally speaking....thieves use this tactic today.....

One will come in and DISTRACT You.....while the Other robs you....

and that’s what satan is out to do to you.....

He wants to keep you FOCUSED On the TROUBLES of life.....INSTEAD of the ANSWER.....

He knows that if he can keep you FOCUSED On the Problem ......he can gain an ADVANTAGE over You......

Paul talked about this in 2 Corinthians 2:11

.....Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

I want to encourage you tonight.....

No matter what may be going on AROUND you......

....trying to Distract you from the Lord Jesus Christ and What He’s done for you.....

Or .....maybe to Distract you from the Destiny and the Purpose that God has for you.....

YOU CAN Overcome it.....God is WITH YOU to Get you Over every Obstacle you face.....

but you willl NEVER do it as long as you FOCUS on the Problem......

To be the OVERCOMER You are DESTINED in Christ to be.....
