Experience the joy and blessings that come from praising God through Zamar, which is worshiping Him with instruments and strings.
Good morning, family! Today, we have the joyful privilege to dive into the incredible power of praise through Zamar - that is, praising God with instruments and the blessing of worshiping Him with strings.
As we turn our hearts and minds toward the glorious presence of our God, let us remember the profound words of A.W. Tozer: "Without worship, we go about miserable" (A.W. Tozer, The Purpose of Man). So, let's not be miserable today, but rather, be filled with the joy that comes from worshiping our Creator with the gifts He so graciously has given to us.
Our Scripture passage today is Psalms 150 (NIV), which says:
Praise the Lord.
Praise God in His sanctuary;
praise Him in His mighty heavens.
Praise Him for His acts of power;
praise Him for His surpassing greatness.
Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise Him with the harp and lyre,
Praise Him with timbrel and dancing,
praise Him with the strings and pipe,
Praise Him with the clash of cymbals,
praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
