VIII. MAIN BODY:
In King James version, after the word "saw" there is Aleph-Tav, signature of the LORD JESUS CHRIST meaning when you saw JESUS in your life, every work/job/career is a celebration not work anymore. We don't celebrate because we have a good and generous boss, high salary or even high position but we celebrate because we fix our eyes on JESUS, our celebration is motivated by JESUS alone, we celebrate because JESUS is in our life. The attitude or mental disposition was changed from "working" to "celebration"
Hebrews 12:2 (New International Version)
12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
"THEY STOPPED WORKING AND STARTED CELEBRATING" - 1 Samuel 6:13 (Contemporary English Version)
This is the correct godly attitude when we come to our workplaces, jobs, offices, designated places of work, and designated positions. We're only in our work places because we celebrate GOD's goodness and financial providence and supplies for us.
Philippians 4:19 (Amplified Bible)
4:19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Deuteronomy 8:18 (Amplified Bible)
8:18 But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
A. They stopped working
"THEY STOPPED WORKING"
Location is Beth-shemesh meaning "house of the sun" and they saw [ALEPH-TAV] the ark. The ark of course is the type of CHRIST which covers all their sins. Bethshemesh is a place in Egypt before it was the Philistines.
1 Samuel 6:1 (Amplified Bible)
6:1 THE ARK of the Lord was in the country of the Philistines seven months.
Jeremiah 43:13 (Amplified Bible)
43:13 [Nebuchadrezzar] shall break also the images and obelisks of Heliopolis [called On or Beth-shemesh—house of the sun] in the land of Egypt, and the temples of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)
5:21 For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].
