INTRODUCTION: Every God-given vision eventually brings you to a crossroads. Not a place of confusion—but a place of clarification.

• Crossroads are where God confronts drift.

• Crossroads are where God recalibrates direction.

• Crossroads are where God restores vision.

Jeremiah 6:16 is not a gentle suggestion. It is a prophetic command to a people who had lost their way while still believing they were on mission.

God says: “STOP. LOOK again. ASK Me. Then WALK. REST!” This is how you step into a God-given vision.

Similarly in Psalm 25:4-5, David doesn’t ask for answers first. He asks for God Himself.

• “Show me Your ways…” — Reveal what I cannot see.

• “Teach me Your paths…” — Shape my understanding.

• “Lead me in Your truth…” — Guide my steps with Your wisdom.

• “On You I wait…” — My pace is surrendered to Your timing.

? This is the posture of a disciple.

? This is the posture of revival.

? This is the posture of a heart that refuses to move without God’s presence.

HOW TO STEP INTO THE GOD-GIVEN VISION?

1. STAND AND LOOK — THE POSTURE OF AWARENESS

Before God directs our steps, He often arrests our pace. Standing still is not inactivity—it’s intentionality. To “look” means to examine the direction of your life with honesty and humility.

• Where am I heading?

• What is shaping my decisions?

• Whose voice is guiding my steps?

Crossroads reveal what we trust.

2. ASK FOR THE ANCIENT PATHS — THE PATH GOD BLESSESS

The “ancient paths” are not outdated traditions or nostalgic memories. They are the timeless ways of God—unchanging, proven, and life-giving.

• The path of obedience

• The path of holiness

• The path of humility

• The path of prayer

• The path of surrender

• The path of worship

• The path of love for God and neighbor

These are not merely ideas; they are well-worn roads carved by generations of faithful men and women who walked with God and found Him trustworthy.

When we ask for the ancient paths, we are saying, “Lord, lead me back to what You have always blessed.”

3. WALK IN IT — REVELATION REQUIRES RESPONSE (vision requires movement, not admiration)

God doesn’t just want to inform us; He wants to transform us.

It’s possible to admire the ancient paths and never step onto them.

It’s possible to know the right way and still choose the convenient way.

• Walking requires courage.

• Walking requires repentance.

• Walking requires trust.

But every step taken in obedience becomes a step into freedom.

4. REST FOR YOUR SOULS — THE PROMISE

When your vision is aligned with God’s path, rest returns.

Not the rest of inactivity, but the rest of certainty.

The rest of knowing you are walking in the will of God.

The rest of a soul no longer striving to manufacture outcomes.

• True vision doesn’t drain you—it steadies you.

• True vision doesn’t exhaust you—it anchors you.

• True vision doesn’t confuse you—it clarifies your next step.

Rest is the fruit of alignment.

APPLICATION: PRAYER

? Lord, today I stand at the crossroads.

? Slow my pace, clear my vision, and tune my heart to Your voice.

? Strip away every path that is not from You.

? Show me the ancient paths—the good way, the holy way, the way that leads to life.

? Give me courage to walk in obedience and clarity to stay aligned with Your heart.

? Let my vision be pure, surrendered, and anchored in Your eternal truth.
