Summary: there are some have made a decision about the way their going.. and they think it's the right way..even though it's the furthest thing from the right way imaginable..

Status Pending

Illus. A mother was busy making supper in the kitchen, and needing a can of tomato soup, she asked her 5 year old son to go into the pantry and get one for her. But the light in the pantry was out and he didn’t really want to go in there. "It’s dark in there and I’m scared" he said.

She asked again and he persisted. Finally she said, "It’s OK honey, Jesus will be in there with you."

So, the little boy walked hesitantly to the door and slowly opened it. Looking inside, he saw it was dark, and he started to leave when all at once an idea came. He peeked back inside again and called out, "Jesus, if you’re in there, would you hand me that can of tomato soup."

These past few weeks..as we here of the news from the Middle East of the be headings that have taken place

And even a woman was beheaded right here in the states this past week..

Never does it seem like now..more than ever before

That the light in the world has gone out

2 Timothy 3:1-5 MSG

1-5 Don’t be naive. There are difficult times ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed, money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents, crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage, cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re animals. Stay clear of these people.

Ladies and gentlemen..we are closer to the return of Jesus than ever before..

And the accuser is fighting harder than ever before..

Whether he thinks he can win in the end or not..doesn't matter

he knows his mission..and his mission is to take as many to Hell

With him as possible!

We all..wonder what the allure is..to draw in someone to join a group like isis?

Makes you think..if ever there was a group of people on a highway to Hell..

It would be that group.

Truth is.. Everyone who is not serving and living for The Lord

and doesn't know Jesus as their Saviour..

Is on a highway to Hell!

Their eternal status..is Pending!

The return of our Saviour no one knows the moment..it's going to happen

But TBS.(the bible says) could happen anytime!

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 MSG

51-57 But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I’ll probably never fully understand. We’re not all going to die—but we are all going to be changed. You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes—it’s over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we’ll all be changed. In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal. Then the saying will come true:

Death swallowed by triumphant Life!

Who got the last word, oh, Death?

Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?

It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power. But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three—sin, guilt, death—are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!

Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?

A lot of people who are sitting on the fence of indecision..believe me, when it happens..

They are going to be wishing they had been more concerned with death..

While everyone in the world..may not have heard about the Gospel..

There are a lot of people who have..

And for what ever reason..they still a waiting to make a decision for Christ..

But there are some have made a decision about the way their going..

and they think it's the right way..even though it's the furthest thing

from the right way imaginable..

Take the Apostle Paul..before his conversion, he was definitely

going the wrong way

Acts 26 1-8 MSG

1-3 Agrippa spoke directly to Paul: “Go ahead—tell us about yourself.”

Paul took the stand and told his story. “I can’t think of anyone, King Agrippa, before whom I’d rather be answering all these Jewish accusations than you, knowing how well you are acquainted with Jewish ways and all our family quarrels.

4-8 “From the time of my youth, my life has been lived among my own people in Jerusalem. Practically every Jew in town who watched me grow up—and if they were willing to stick their necks out they’d tell you in person—knows that I lived as a strict Pharisee, the most demanding branch of our religion. It’s because I believed it and took it seriously, committed myself heart and soul to what God promised my ancestors—the identical hope, mind you, that the twelve tribes have lived for night and day all these centuries—it’s because I have held on to this tested and tried hope that I’m being called on the carpet by the Jews. They should be the ones standing trial here, not me! For the life of me, I can’t see why it’s a criminal offense to believe that God raises the dead.
