noun: normalcy

1. the condition of being normal; the state of being usual, typical, or expected.

What we have witnessed this past year has been anything but normal. We have been under relentless attack from the accuser and all things demonic.

Death destruction and Mayham have been the mainstream. What we are witnessing is nothing new, this is the same death and destruction attack the accuser has been pursuing for 1,000’s of years.

However instead of being an isolated incidents, because of the digital age we live in, this has become an awareness of a global impact moment.

In the beginning of this pandemic, many scriptures were posted such as;

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJ

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Christians all over the world began to quote scripture and cry out to Jesus for protection and healing for humanity and our country. But then, normalcy tried to creep in and set up house in everyone’s life and far to many let the idea of normalcy dictate terms for living.

For years far too many have lived with the idea of, “if it’s not affecting me or my street it’ll be okay!” That’s exactly a mindset, the accuser loves for one of Gods children to have.

Age is said to bring wisdom and one thing Christians should be keenly aware of by now is, “even if the attack of darkness is not directly affecting you, it’s affecting someone you know

and even without feeling the direct effects of the attack you are affected and little by little, infected without even being aware of it!”

All this coupled with the worst election cycle and the most vicious politics many have ever witnessed, no matter what your affiliation is.

What we have witnessed has been a battle of the heavenly’s and of spiritual matters, being played out in real time, right in front of our very eyes for the prize of humanity!

Businesses were and are shut down and schools have been closed. You can go to a casino, you can go to a protest, you can go to the store but we were told you can’t go to Church and now were told to have no thanksgiving.

All this is nothing new I’m telling you you haven’t already heard, except now we have a new man supposedly coming on the scene and normalcy is now to be believed is on the horizon.

Many think the battle is over, I can tell you the battle is far from over and God will not stand for the mockery we see of Him on the news and in the streets!

What we are witnessing and have witnessed is a precursor of the things that are to come! Only the things to come have never been closer!

Joshua witnessed something similar to what we have all been a part of and witnessed back in his day.

For Moses had led God’s people out of slavery and bondage and told them God had better plans for them. Plans to prosper them and a better way of life and place for them to live.

God had plans to make Israel great nation. But on the way to what should’ve been a sure climax to victory. A 2 to 3 week journey turned into 40 years of continual left hand turns, as the people began to endlessly complain about what they didn’t have and thought they were entitled to.

*They said they were thirsty, God quenched their thirst with all the water they could drink!

*They said they were hungry and God satisfied their hunger with all the manna they could eat.

*They said they wanted to meat to go with their bread, so God provided quail in unlimited quantities.

*They begged for healing after being bit by fiery snakes and God provided a bronze servant they could look at and be healed.

Miracle after miracle God delivered them each and every time what they ask for!

But they continued to moan, groan and complain about the way things were and how bad they had it and how they had had things better when they were in slavery.

Can you imagine thinking slavery was better than freedom? “even if the attack of darkness is not directly affecting you, it’s affecting someone you know and even without feeling the direct effects of the attack you are affected and little by little, infected without even being aware of it!”

Moses died before he ever reach the promised land as did all of the complainers, naysayers and the ones who felt like they were entitled to everything they didn’t have.
