This sermon explores the timely arrival of Jesus, our faith in His salvation, and our transformation into God's family through His profound love.
Welcome, beloved family of Christ, to this sacred gathering. We stand here today not as strangers, but as brothers and sisters united in the love of our Savior. As we come together in fellowship, let us remember the words of the great preacher Charles Spurgeon who once said, "To trust God in the light is nothing, but to trust him in the dark—that is faith."
In this world of uncertainty and change, faith is our anchor. It is the steady hand that guides us, the firm foundation upon which we stand. And it is through faith that we come to know the profound truth of God's love for us—a love so deep, so wide, so all-encompassing that it led Him to send His only Son into the world for our redemption.
The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Galatians, beautifully articulates this truth. Let's read together from Galatians 4:4-7: "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, 'Abba, Father!' Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ."
What a profound and comforting truth! The timely arrival of Jesus, our trust in His salvation, and our transformation into God's family—these are the themes we will be focusing on today.
