INTRODUCTION
How can we remain spiritually fit?
THE WORD OF GOD
The means by which we grow spiritually.
It was by the Word of God that Jesus resisted the devil
It is by God's Word in our hearts that we can resist sin.
The Word of God is foundational to our spiritual fitness.
Develop the habit of reading the Word daily.
PRAYER
Prayer is for our benefit; it changes us!
There is power in prayer (forgiveness, peace, healing, wisdom) just to name a few!
Consistent Prayer strengthens our relationship with God.
PRAISES
Singing praises God.
It is a type of spiritual sacrifice.
Praise is how we respond to God’s goodness.
Praise when you can - at home, driving, church, in the shower, or listen!
FELLOWSHIP
This is a source of comfort and edification.
Fellowship allows us to partake in the body of Christ as all do our part.
It helps us avoid becoming hardened.
Fellowship strengths our faith in Christ.
GOOD WORKS
We are created for good works to glorify God.
We are to be faithful in good works.
We ought to use the gifts we have been given.
Doing good works builds endurance.
