1:5 For this reason I left you [behind] in Crete, that you might set right what was defective and finish what was left undone, and that you might appoint elders and set them over the churches (assemblies) in every city as I directed you.

Titus 3:8 (Amplified Bible)

3:8 This message is most trustworthy, and concerning these things I want you to insist steadfastly, so that those who have believed in (trusted in, relied on) God may be careful to apply themselves to honorable occupations and to doing good, for such things are [not only] excellent and right [in themselves], but [they are] good and profitable for the people.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Teach it

"BUT [as for] you, teach what is fitting and becoming"

Teach means to talk about it, to preach, to utter words.

Matthew 10:19-20 (Amplified Bible)

10:19 But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to say will be given you in that very hour and moment,

10:20 For it is not you who are speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

GOD will use our mouth as His mouthpiece, all we have to do is talk, we don't even have to be anxious what we need to talk or teach about.

Colossians 4:3-4 (Amplified Bible)

4:3 And at the same time pray for us also, that God may open a door to us for the Word (the Gospel), to proclaim the mystery concerning Christ (the Messiah) on account of which I am in prison;

4:4 That I may proclaim it fully and make it clear [speak boldly and unfold that mystery], as is my duty.

The WORD of GOD has the power to change people's life so don't ignore not to talk or teach GOD's Words. Use every opportunity you have wherever you are.

B. Sound doctrine

"to sound (wholesome) doctrine [the character and right living that identify true Christians]"

Our doctrine and our lifestyle should be always aligned with each other. We can't teach what we don't practice yet, we can't impart or share something we don't believe in. We can't give something we don't yet have.

Sound doctrine is a healthy doctrine, uncorrupt, wholesome, safe teachings from GOD's Words. Every move or action we take has a doctrine backing it up.

Romans 12:7 (Amplified Bible)

12:7 [He whose gift is] practical service, let him give himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching;

Ephesians 4:14 (Amplified Bible)

4:14 So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

We should not be led by different doctrines we need to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT.

Romans 15:4 (Amplified Bible)

15:4 For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope.

The Bible is filled with experiences of different men and women but our teacher is not experience itself but GOD's Words and the HOLY SPIRIT.

1 John 2:27 (Amplified Bible)

2:27 But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

IX. CONCLUSION:

Share our life with them that is in line with GOD's Words.
