'SORRY WORLD, THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY'

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Here are 3 things that the world hate in the Words of Jesus.

I. Saying that He was not a way but that HE IS THE WAY to come to the Father God.

A. The world would have you believe that there was many ways, such as good works, religions, being good, etc.

II. The world hates the fact that Jesus is the TRUTH.

A. Not a truth but the TRUTH.

1. Man can lie, but not God. Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;.......

2. When regard for truth has been broken down or even slightly weakened, all things will remain doubtful. St. Augustine.

III. Jesus is alive and He is the LIFE. Believing and receiving Jesus give us Life. 1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

A. I love the words of the chorus, Without the way, there is no going; without the truth, there is no knowing; without the life, there is no living.
