VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Eat the flesh of the Son of man

"For My flesh is true and genuine food"

John 6:51 (Amplified Bible)

I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).

John 10:9 (Amplified Bible)

I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.

In the concept of a food for man, no man can live without any food, he has to eat somehow, some time in his life and he needs to eat everyday. Same with our spiritual life, our food is the WORD of GOD, the Bible, the written WORD of GOD, and we breath the Living WORD of GOD -- that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST. We live because of Him, it's not because of the physical food, the LORD JESUS CHRIST sustains us to move, live and have our being in Him. Those who have fasted for 40 days and 40 nights understands this very well. When you don't have any food left in your stomach, and you fully know in yourself, that you can only stand because of the Grace of GOD, that is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Acts 17:28 (Amplified Bible)

For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

Matthew 4:4 (Amplified Bible)

But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

Deuteronomy 8:3 (Amplified Bible)

And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you recognize and personally know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.

B. Drink the blood of the Son of man

"My blood is true and genuine drink"

Matthew 22:4 (Amplified Bible)

Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast.

Mark 14:22 (Amplified Bible)

And while they were eating, He took a loaf [of bread], praised God and gave thanks and asked Him to bless it to their use. [Then] He broke [it] and gave to them and said, Take. Eat. This is My body.

Revelation 19:9 (Amplified Bible)

Then [the angel] said to me, Write this down: Blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who are summoned (invited, called) to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me [further], These are the true words (the genuine and exact declarations) of God.

Isaiah 25:6 (Amplified Bible)

And on this Mount [Zion] shall the Lord of hosts make for all peoples a feast of rich things [symbolic of His coronation festival inaugurating the reign of the Lord on earth, in the wake of a background of gloom, judgment, and terror], a feast of wines on the lees—of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

If we have the LORD JESUS CHRIST's body as food, then we have His blood to drink. This is not cannibalism but this is full dependence on GOD and His Strength, in His Life, the life is in the blood. We all have life because of His blood, without the blood there's no remission of sins, so those people without the LORD JESUS CHRIST have no life in themselves, they have heard the GOOD News already but in their heart they can't accept it, so if they have think, they have life, they are zombies, only real life can be found thru the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He removed the guilt, stain and power of sin upon us by using His blood to wash it away from us, now we can serve Him with a clean heart, clean mind.
