Some Have And Some Will Imitate Our Lord But, No One Can Duplicate Him.

John 6:30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? 31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. 32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. 34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. 35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

About 500 years before Jesus was born - a man named Buddha came along. He established a religion we know of as Buddhism, and many people gathered around him and tried to live by his teachings. But be-fore he was born, nobody ever said: “Hey somebody is going to come along and he will come from this or that family. These are going to be his credentials. And this is how you’ll know he is who he said he was.”

Mohammed was born about 500 years after Christ. He established a religion we now call Islam and many people gathered around him and tried to live by his teachings. But before he was born, nobody ev-er said: “Hey somebody is going to come along and he will come from this or that family. These are going to be his credentials. And this is how you’ll know he is who he said he was.”

BUT, when Jesus came… He didn’t just pop up in history and say “Hey, I have a great idea!” Oh no. Long before Jesus was ever born, God put His stamp of approval on Him, so that we can know that all of the Old Testament looked forward to the birth of this one little boy in Bethlehem who is the Son of God. And because of that one child’s birth – miracles have taken place in the lives of millions of men and women.

George Whitefield once said: “It is an undoubted truth that every doctrine that comes from God, leads to God; and that which doth not tend to promote holiness is not of God”

Jesus said in Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Folks, don't be lead away by some other god. In this politically correct world in which we live there are many gods, many that deceive our children and grandchildren and many adults. A lot are coming from Hollywood kidnapping their minds, destroying their souls and leading them captive to everlasting dam-nation. Jesus is the only way, the only truth and life.
