Summary: Thanksgiving devotion outline from Psalm 150 an acrostic of PRAISE

Six ways to praise (Acrostic) Psalm 150

Each of the last 5 psalms begins and ends with ‘Praise The Lord‘.

“Hallelujah“-(ha-lal) “boast“- to shine forth- to shout and sing!(145:1-5)

Praise is the natural response when we’re focused on Him-worship!

Personally-Who’s to praises?-(“ye” KJV). Underscore personal pronoun!

Who do we praise? Ps.34:1a “I will bless the Lord --at all times-!”

Repeatedly 34:1b ”His praise shall continually be in my mouth…”

Psalm 136; 26 time in 26 verses- “His mercy endures forever…”

Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always & again I say rejoice”!

I Thesslonians.5:16 “Rejoice evermore-”-

Affectionately Ps.138:1 “I will praise You - with my ‘whole heart‘”!

Celebrate with my entire “laab”- inner being- Mind (intelligence),

Soul (heart, -emotions- passions- personality). Will-(decisions)

Intelligently (Not ours..His I Cor 2)

-a lump in the throat-no excuse for vacuum in head!

John 4:23 “But the hour is coming- and now is- when the true

worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;

-for the Father is seeking such to worship Him“.

John 17:17 “Sanctify them by Your truth- - your word is truth.”

Spiritually -I Cor.14:15; 2:6-14;

John 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing-

The Words that I speak to you are spirit…and they are life!”

Everlastingly Psalm 145:1-2; and ff

When we praise here- we’re just practicing for heaven! Rev.5:8-14

What are we to do on our way to heaven? 145:1-5

What could stop our praise? Only one thing- to lose focus on Him!

What we focus on- what we allow our minds to dwell on-

- controls our attitude….. and eventually our actions.

Ps 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord…

and He shall give you the desires of your heart”. -Are you praising?!
