Sin Remover!

Matthew 9:1-8-So He got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!”

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts?

For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

And he arose and departed to his house.

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

They Brought To Him-Who’s they?

We can be…They!!!

Those who bring the sick to Jesus!

Those who bring the weary to Jesus!

Those who bring the lost to Jesus!

Those who bring the hopeless to Jesus!

Those who bring the hungry to Jesus!

This was not only, a act of hope, and a act of courage, but it also was a act of faith, and a act of expectation by these people!

You might argue that Jesus forgave him, without him repenting, but his act of allowing them to take him to Jesus, was a outward show of his need for Jesus, and isn’t that what repentance is all about!!

When Jesus Saw Their Faith-No one else may see your faith!

No one else may see your devotion!

No one else may see your dedication!

No one else may see your service to Lord!

No one else may see your acts of kindness!

But let me assure you, Jesus sees! Jesus knows! And Jesus rewards!!

Son, Be Of Good Cheer; Your Sins Are Forgiven You

Jesus is meeting two needs at once;

1-He is healing the body and the soul for the benefit of this man

2-And healed the physical body, for the benefit of those observing!!

So, what does that tell us? That our problems, that our situations, are not only ultimately in our life to be a benefit to us, but also to others!!!!

Be Of Good Cheer-This is what is being said to us today!

This should be ringing in our ears today!

Be of good cheer, It’s all going to work out in the perfect plan of God!

Be of good cheer, Everything is filter thru the hands of God!

Be of good cheer, His word doesn’t come back void!!

Be of good cheer, Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world!

Be of good cheer, I can do all things thru Christ which strengthens me

For Which Is Easier, To Say, ‘Your Sins Are Forgiven You,’ Or To Say, ‘Arise And Walk’

I know of instant’s where, Christ healed the body, but they haven’t, let Him the soul!!

I’ve also known of people, where Jesus has healed the soul, gave peace to conscience, but body is still under the influence of sickness!

Arise, Take Up Your Bed, And Go To Your House

We always carry around the things that happen to us!

Now we can use it as a testimony (Look what God did for me, or took me out of !!), or as a crutch, or a complaint (Why me? Why did this have to happen to me?)

Go To Your House-The ones in our house are the ones we have the greatest influence over!!

The ones in our house are the ones, we need to be a witness too, not only with our words, but also with our actions!!
