14:22 Because all those men who have seen My glory and My [miraculous] signs which I performed in Egypt and in the wilderness, yet have tested and proved Me these ten times and have not heeded My voice,

14:23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to give to their fathers; nor shall any who provoked (spurned, despised) Me see it.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Sins of leaders: unbelief in GOD's providence

"And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, Because you did not believe in (rely on, cling to) Me to sanctify Me in the eyes of the Israelites,"

Deuteronomy 34:4

Then the Lord said to him, "This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there."

Moses and Aaron symbolizes the leaders of the church namely the pastor, associate pastor and the deacons. Both spiritual leaders and the deacons, political and economical (finances) leaders of the church. This is just based on their names.

How many goals that the pastor have set for the church and yet after a year, it's still not attained?

How many goals have been set by the deacons for the church but after a year, also the same frustrating results?

Pray for more belief in GOD's Providence. That's what is lacking. Our sins will never lead us to hell if we're believers, but it will lead us to dead works while living on earth.

Hebrews 6:1

THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God,

Hebrews 9:14

How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works and lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

Believe in GOD's Providence for He is our Liberal Supplier.

Luke 1:45

And blessed (happy, to be envied) is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were spoken to her from the Lord.

Romans 4:20

No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God,

Philippians 4:19

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

If you don't or can't believe that GOD supplies the needs of the local church today liberally, then how can your local church stand up in these hard and difficult times.

B. Their church can't accomplish anything
