Summary: Yes, Bible reading, church-going Christians join the ‘curse God club’ and get ruined.

Which ‘club’ do you belong?

Job 2:9”Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die."

Did you know there are two clubs operating in the Christian circle? One is ‘Curse God Club’ and the other is ‘Love God Club!’ Which Club do you belong to? We have a huge lot of people from the ‘CGC’ who curse God: when plane crash, when plane vanish, Ebola, rape crimes, violence and what not! Yes, Bible reading, church-going Christians join the ‘curse God club’ and get ruined. The Bible says in Proverbs 19:3 “Only foolish people curse God and get ruined.” Job’s wife said: ’Curse God and die’ which were most wounding and hurtful words that really cut deep into the heart of Job and God! Alas, we don’t get to hear about this lady anywhere else in the Bible, only may be towards the end of the book of Job because she partakes in the blessings of Job. Be careful not to involve with people who belong to the ‘CGC’ and feel sympathy for anyone who cursed God! It would only reveal the stuff inside your heart when you join hands with people of the world who curse God. The Bible says: Romans 12:2”Do not be conformed to this world…”Job’s wife receiving forgiveness from God, only manifests the long suffering nature of our adorable God and nothing else.

The other club is ‘Love God club!’ 1 John 4:19 – “We love Him, because He first loved us.” Did you read that? Crystal clear words sprinkled with love and affection; John's love for Jesus was so strong, that he continued to defy the Roman magistrate's order to no longer proclaim Jesus as Messiah, Savior and Lord; even while a prisoner in Patmos Island. All of the epistles written by Apostle John glitters with his love for His Master! A man who loves God would also endure the sufferings that go with it! Are you listening? He would never curse God!

Apostle Paul said: (2 Corinthians 11: 24) ”Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the forty lashes less one. 25 Three times I was beaten with rods. Once I was stoned. Three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea ..” Despite all this, Paul said: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?”(Romans 8:35) These stalwarts for Jesus belong to the ‘Love God Club’, whom we got to emulate admire and follow.

Slap your neighbor high five and tell them: I don’t know about you, but I belong to the LGC (Love God club)!
