Leviticus 23:19 (Amplified Bible)

Then you shall sacrifice one he-goat for a sin offering and two he-lambs, a year old, for a sacrifice of peace offering.

Leviticus 23:19 (King James Version)

Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

Two lambs for peace while one goat for a sin. Why is that? Because as we have been forgiven and cleansed by GOD, it's too difficult for us to receive and enjoy the forgiveness, because they're still in our memory.

A. Kid of the goat for a sin offering

"Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering,"

Romans 8:3 (Amplified Bible)

For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice],

2 Corinthians 5:21 (Amplified Bible)

For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness].

Numbers 28:30 (Amplified Bible)

And one male goat to make atonement for you.

Leviticus 16:15 (Amplified Bible)

Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering that is for [the sins of] the people and bring its blood within the veil [into the Holy of Holies] and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.

Hebrews 2:17 (Amplified Bible)

So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren in every respect, in order that He might become a merciful (sympathetic) and faithful High Priest in the things related to God, to make atonement and propitiation for the people’s sins.

B. Two one-year old lamb for peace offering

"and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings"

Leviticus 3:1-17 (Amplified Bible)

IF A man’s offering is a sacrifice of peace offering, if he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

He shall lay [both] his ands upon the head of his offering and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall throw the blood against the altar round about.

And from the sacrifice of the peace offering, an offering made by fire to the Lord, he shall offer the fat that covers and is upon the entrails,

And the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the appendage of the liver which he shall take away with the kidneys.

Aaron’s sons shall burn it all on the altar upon the burnt offering which is on the wood on the fire, an offering made by fire, of a sweet and satisfying odor to the Lord.
