Church is the people that make up the Body of Christ. We are the Body of Christ, and He, that is Jesus, is the Head of this Body. Church is two or more believers gathered in the name of Jesus for the express purpose of worshiping God.

Jesus loves the church very deeply. He is faithful and committed to His church, despite our failures. Let us (1) love the church the way He loves her, and (2) understand our need of the church for our growth.

If we are to see our churches growing like the early church, we must be like the Jerusalem church. Certain characteristics should be present in our churches today before growth takes place.
