in response to the Parkland massacre

On Valentine’s Day, a day to celebrate love, the expectation is that couples would enjoy a nice dinner, chocolates or roses, that would normally cause their hearts to flutter. However, this year on February 14th, hearts were not moved by love, but by the horror of yet another mass murder of our ...read more

  • Sunday Is Here, But Monday Is Coming

Contributed by Peter Mclewin on Mar 18, 2002
    based on 85 ratings

At the end of each day of the Holy Week, Jesus withdrew from the city and then returned in the morning with a fresh symbol of who He was. On Monday He used a fig tree to teach a powerful lesson about spiritual fruit.

While in Israel last month (March 2001) I once again had the privilege of walking down the Mount of Olives in a manner similar to that which Jesus did so many years ago on Palm Sunday. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that view of city. It is, without a doubt, the best approach to the Holy ...read more

There is no condemnation in those who live for Jesus Christ, but this freedom He provides is not a license to live lives riddled with sin.

Romans, Part 22 Romans 8:1-9 Introduction - Paul taught very clearly about identifying and battling sin; it was his mission - He understood that we must know our enemy, and be able to stand against him - He also understood that you and I were once bound by sin; but are no more - Before we can ...read more
