Can we always make sense out of tragedies? Like Paul tell us as Job discovers, we have to grasp that nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:35 -39). We do not get to that place in our journey without God’s help.

Everything we know about God and His workings in our inner persons, we are able to know because of our faith. Even though Paul was a prisoner when he wrote this letter, he remained positive and persevered because he was “rooted and grounded in God’s love”.

God’s love knows no bounds. The audience in the synagogue was ok hearing about God’s love so long as it met with their expectations. When Jesus talked about how God’s love reaches out to even the Gentiles, people in the synagogue got upset.
