A Christian’s heart is a sacrificial heart. It’s a heart that offers God the whole of who we are because of Jesus’s sacrifice, giving His life as a sacrifice for our sins. We need to forgive for our own health and wellbeing. Like thanksgiving, forgiveness is one of the healthiest things we can do. Medical science has found that unforgiveness upsets our body’s chemical makeup taking us from heights of euphoria to depths of depression.
