Marvels Of Mercy

Mercy is marvelous. God showed His great mercy to us as He sent Jesus to come and die for our sins. How can we then show mercy to those around us? This is our charge as believers. To uncover the marvels of mercy for those who do not yet believe.

Powerful Prepositions

How things start out can often determine if they are victorious in the end. Our final outcomes are judged not in the light of today, but in the light of eternity. Romans 11:36 shows us a three-pronged test to get us started out right and to help us see it through to the end.

Magnificent Meekness

Biblical meekness is having the power to act yet holding back until we are led to act by the Holy Spirit. This is magnificent meekness and it is different than potential. God grants us the power of His meekness today and fully equips us to do whatever He is calling us to do.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5 ESV) What does it mean to be meek in a biblical sense? Voice Recognition

Learning to hear the voice of the Lord is paramount to being led by the Spirit of God. God promises to lead us by His Spirit, speaking spiritual truths, Spirit to spirit. May we be sensitive to His leading as we recognize His voice and follow Him without hesitation and in full obedience.

In John 10, Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd. As a believer, we become part of his flock. That makes us sheep in His Kingdom. Bearable Burdens

God gives us "bearable burdens" so that we can grow in his matchless grace. His grace is perfected in weakness as we walk out the burdens He has given us to carry, just as Paul did with his thorn of the flesh.

The Champion's Anthem
