David’s 911 Call For Help (1-2)

Psalm 35 is another of David’s imprecatory prayers. In it David appeals to a righteous God to send judgment upon the enemies of God, and the persecutors of His righteous people.

We want to look again at the imprecatory prayer of David in Psalm 35. Anytime a preacher preaches about an imprecatory prayer he has to be careful. He has to be careful because it would be easy to convey to people that we can use God to strike back at our enemies.

This is not what the Bible teaches. In fact, it teaches just the opposite.
